Canadian Gold Rush no more

After an incredibly long last couple of days, I finally have found some time to get back on this blog. Due to time constraints I was unable to publish a game report in the discouraging defeat to the Russians, but I will enlist my individual player rankings.

But.....before I do, after another failed chase for gold at this year's World Junior Hockey Championship, and after we go through months of anticipated roster questioning, the time has come to consider whether the selection team process is a fair one, and further yet, a right one. Should the ultimate evaluator which translates to the Head Coach in this scenario be in charged of selecting the troops when he may have hockey related or personal ties to a player. In my not so open eyes at this hour, I think the best course of action is to hire a head coach who resides in the Canadian Hockey League, but the selection staff completely impartial with no ties to any player invited to the camp.

That's my mjnor rant for this evening, as always shout-outs would be much appreciated as the only way to expand this "enterprise" is by word of mouth.
